On 11 June 2013 ACCA organised the event on Competency Framework and E-assessment Delivery that discussed recent changes at ACCA for Approved Learning Partners and Approved Employers.
Event speakers were Nataliya Vovchuk, Head of ACCA Ukraine, Baltic and Caucasus States and Karen Yates, Head of Education - ACCA Europe.
ACCA has recently designed the new Competency Framework – an interactive tool, helping employers match every single ACCA exam with corresponding competency that it provides, and is aimed to support employers throughout the process of planning the professional development of financial personnel.
This instrument is particularly useful in Ukraine, as there is lack of adequate competency mapping for the graduates of Ukrainian universities.
Nataliya Vovchuk said: “Competency Framework has become the first instrument, collecting all necessary information and interconnecting ACCA exams, roles, job descriptions, competencies and other relevant resources. Its major benefit is availability and accessibility from anywhere around the world, helping HRs and aspiring finance professionals choose the best career paths with ACCA Qualification.”
The representatives of Kyiv Audit Group have attended the presentation and familiarized themselves with a new instrument suggested by ACCA for possible further application in professional development of firm's employees.
