All Praxity member firms are treading on air. Kyiv Audit Group is jubilating among them. We’ve got a reason to be proud of and in a hurry to share the great news.
It's a hat-trick! Praxity Global Alliance, whose loyal member Kyiv Audit Group has been for 13 years, has regained its crown as the Association of the Year and gets triple award:
- Winner: Association of the Year 2021
- Winner: Lifetime Achievement Award
- Winner: Young Accountant of the Year
It all took place at the Digital Accountancy Forum Awards 2021 #DAFawards – the most prestigious event in the international accounting calendar.
Association of the Year 2021 - It marks the fifth time Praxity has been named Association of the Year in its 13-year history, following previous wins in 2014, 2016, 2017 and 2019.
The award recognises the efforts of Praxity staff and the employees of Praxity member firms around the world to “consistently deliver high quality professional services”.
In challenging circumstances, with staff working almost entirely online due to the impact of Covid-19, Praxity achieved outstanding performance and service excellence, including:
- Record combined global revenues of $US7bn for the year ending 31 December 2020
- Growth of 9.1% on the previous year, considerably outperforming the industry average
- More support for member firms and their clients to weather the Covid pandemic, including increased online resources and guidance
- Successful global virtual conferences and events, with additional CPE opportunities
- An extension of the ‘Huddle’ knowledge-sharing tool to boost cross-firm collaboration
Two of the awards that the Alliance bagged are for individual excellence, underlining the depth of talent in the Praxity team.
Praxity’s new CEO Samantha Louis commented “I could not be more proud of the amazing group of people I have been privileged to join. This is a fitting tribute not only to Praxity staff but also to the 60,000 plus staff who are part of the Praxity family at our member firms”.
International Project Manager Rebecca Belanger was named Young Accountant of the Year for making a “significant difference” to the success of the Alliance; most notably by driving international collaboration between more than 50 member firms while working entirely remotely during the pandemic.
Departing CEO Graeme Gordon scooped the Lifetime Achievement Award for “consistent levels of achievement within the profession”. In his 11 years at the helm, Graeme has helped transform Praxity from a fledging organization into the largest and most successful accounting and consulting Alliance in the world. Throughout his career, he has worked on driving up standards in the profession through membership of various committees, and regional and international accounting bodies.
After receiving the award Graeme praised the Praxity Member Firms and Executive Office team saying “I am truly honoured and humbled at receiving this award, which I couldn’t have won without my amazing team and member firms”.
Praxity is now entering an exciting new era under the guidance of new CEO Samantha Louis, who officially takes over from Graeme Gordon on 31 December 2021. Kyiv Audit Group is happy to congratulate all Praxity member firms and the Praxity team on this triple award success!
