| In 2016, the Praxity Alliance was again named ‘Association of the Year’ and received an award from the international professional publication International Accounting Bulletin.

The judges were unanimous in their decision, praising the international influence of the Praxity Alliance, its impressive growth figures and its focus on “caring for the needs of clients around the world by combining knowledge and resources.” The judges also praised Praxity for its commitment to gender equality, with a 30% increase in the number of female partners across the Alliance’s member firms. Helen Jennings, Praxity’s CEO, said: “We have seen nine years of consistent growth and the Alliance now provides exceptional access to nearly 40,000 professionals in over 100 countries worldwide. Winning the Association of the Year award three years in a row confirms our position as the world’s No. 1 alliance of independent accounting and advisory firms. This award recognises the contribution of our member firms to delivering unparalleled client service and our shared goal of achieving greater gender equality. However, while we are making great strides forward, the number of female partners is still less than 20%, and the IAB rightly noted that we must not stop there.” |

Praxity was also a finalist for the “Communication of the Year” award after the Alliance launched a new marketing initiative to foster a sense of community among member firms around the world. This initiative included a 140% increase in PR activities, an increase in the number of emails that exceeded the industry average open rates, the launch of the bi-weekly ‘Tax Blasts’ newsletter and a new ‘Resource Hub’ newsletter to provide member companies with access to a large amount of online content in just “three clicks”.
