24.05.2012: ACCA: exam price rises coming
The knowledge papers might cost early sitters £55 in June but come December 2012 that price is rising by a whopping 9% to £60. Some students are rightly wondering how the ACCA is justifying such a hike. The standard rate of exam fees is also rising.
You don’t want to know how much it will cost you to sit the paper late, but we are going to tell you anyway. If you tell the ACCA that you want to sit one of the optional papers during the late period it will cost you £231 after this summer’s sitting.
Some students are also questioning why there is such a big price difference between the different levels. One student felt they must take roughly the same time to mark, so why the mark-up? Another wondered if it was just ‘historical pricing’.
