EFRAG, the UK Accounting Standard Board, the Italian Standard Setter OIC - Organismo Italiano di Contabilita' - and the Polish Accounting Standards Committee (KSR) organize their joint outreach event on the discussion papers “Business Combinations Under Common Control” and “Improving Financial Reporting Of Income Tax” on 15 May in Warsaw from 12 to 15.30 pm. The outreach is organized together with the National Chamber of Statutory Auditors (KiBR) and the Association of Accountants in Poland (SKwP).
In October and December 2011, EFRAG issued two Discussion Papers: ‘Accounting for Business Combinations under Common Control’ and ‘Improving the Financial Reporting of Income Tax’. These publications have been issued together with the Italian standard setter - Organismo Italiano di Contabilita’ (OIC) and with the UK Accounting Standards Board (ASB) respectively.
The objectives of this outreach event is to obtain input from constituents. EFRAG, the OIC, the ASB and the KSR - together with the KiBR and the SKwP - are therefore keen to hear what practitioners and others think about the topics considered in these discussion papers.
It is expected that the input from this event will be beneficial to EFRAG, the OIC and the ASB in their deliberations on the discussion papers and the future work of the IASB on its projects related to Income Taxes and to the Accounting for Business Combinations under Common Control.
